so i have a 2004 v6 mustang. 3.9 and it has limited slip stock and i thought that wasnt possible. does anyone know if this is common?
im pretty sure thats Traction Control, that has nothing to do with the differential.I have a friend who has a 01-02 i believe v6 and it came with the LSD and the button to turn it off and on right next to the defrost.
on your rear differential cover, you should have a metal tag that says your gear ratio, the rear end size, and some other little bits of information. its bolted on by one of the diff. cover bolts near the top and should stick out a little bit.Im just gona have the new one installed ne way that way its new and since i have it now. lol but im glad im not the only one that had both spin when stuck. i just hope now that it is an 7.5 in and not 8.8 so i dont have to get different parts.
