2008 GT stocker-Has any one noticed a loud thump after initial startup? Seems to come from the front left side(when seated in driver seat) intermittant, I thought maybe some kind of ac system noise but here in south florida my ac is always on and i would expect the noise more often.

Could it be some kind of vacuum operated door for the ventilation system moving when the car is first started and vacuum from the engine picks up? Does the noise change if the knob for the ventilation system is set in a different position before the car is started?
