1967 Mustang C-code question?

My uncle is a giving me his mustang from wen he was younger, and he swears it is a 1967 289 c-code gta coupe, i just had a couple questions about it. It only has single exaught and no fog lights, but it has the gta cap and everything that looks original, my question is did they make any gta coupes without fog lights and duel exhaust?,

what I found so far

Vehicle Identification Numbers
Engine Codes
200cid 1V 6cyl 120hpT289cid 2V V-8 200hpC289cid 4V V-8 225hpA289cid 4V V-8 271hpK
6 - Last digit of model year
F - Assembly plant (F-Dearborn, R-San Jose, T-Metuchen)
07 - Body code (07-2dr, 08-Convertible, 09-Fastback)
C - Engine Code
100001 - Consecutive unit number
Example: 6F07C100001

You will hear some people say C code are not real GT mustangs... I beg to differ..they were considered the entry level GT
