Helppppp!!!

Very last thing i have to do to get her on the road is reupholster but i just cant seem to get the recliner lever off the side of the bucket seats to get the new vinyl on. I have removed the screw from the lever but there appears to be a metal plug on the inside preventing me from simply pulling the lever off.

Ive looked everywhere for the answer but no luck.

Anybody please I'm begging

If you mean the chrome lever on the side, the screw holds it on. It's stuck from age, just wiggle it and it'll come off. Don't forget to put the foam donut on the shaft when installing the new vinyl. I did once, and it was really painful to reach through the seat frame and slide it back on.
